I have a 4th gen rear out of a 97 trans am and there is a 2001 camaro v6 in the local boneyard with a disc rear. I was wondering if it was worth it to put ls1 rear brakes on my rear since there bigger in diameter. I may just get the whole rear depening on price of it.

Alot of the 4th gen guys are upgrading to the newer brakes. Never heard of a major problem. You will have to take the axles out to switch out the backing plates.
