Can Non-1LE cars use 1LE rotors (front)???
It's time for some new rotors, so I swung by Advance Auto to get prices. I think they quoted me 27.xx a piece for the stock replacements, and seventy-some bucks for the 1LE's. My car is not a 1LE, but my question is this: Are the 1LE rotors that much better and would they even bolt up to my car?? Any modification? Would I have to change the calipers too? I'm getting some new pads and some stainless steel brake lines too, I just want a good braking system without dropping a grand in it. What do you think?? Stock replacements or 1LE?? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's an all-or-nothing thing, you could do the whole 1LE conversion or you could keep it stock, but you can't just put 1LE rotors on.

no they cannot. as mentioned above it a packaged deal. the rotor is thicker and larger diameter than the stocker. there is not way in hell they would work with the inferior stock non-1LE pieces.

Thank you gentlemen, that's exactly the info I was needing!! Crappy stockers for me then Well, maybe with the better pads and stainless steel lines it will get the job done, hell, it's bound to be better than what I've got now!! Thanks again.
