Watts linkage?

Anybody ever remove the Panhard bar and install a Watts linkage?

I know we have a 10 bolt gm rear and not a ford, but here's a web address that shows the basic idea. The reason why I'm asking is cause I know that setup won't work with a rear removable cover. Maybe some one has found a way to do this.

i don't know anyone personaly who has done this. i basicly have the design for one finished, just gotta either get the stuff to build it myself, or find someone to build it for me.

i think they way to do this, would be more like the mustang kit made by evolution motorsports.

its got its own crossmember and mounts, you would just have to fabricate a way to connect it to the rear end.

i was reading through the handling book published by addco, and it described this "watts" linkage....

looks neat, but what would the benefits be as opposed to a standard panhard rod?

you don't have the lateral movement as the springs compress/decompress.
