Panhard mount

My panhard bar must have gotten loose over time and wiggled enough in the mount that it has oblonged the hole. All it does is vibrate and rattle. How can i fix this without welding because i have no way to use a welder? How much do u think it would be if i took it to a shop?

Have you pulled it loose to take a look at it? Sometimes tightening up the passenger side mount can help.

I can't remember where but I've seen washers with one side that has teeth that sticks into the metal as the bolt is tightened -

I think maybe used on the pivot shaft of front upper controll arms for camber adjustment

Get a thick washer welded to the outside of the bracket on each side where the bolt goes through.

Re: Panhard mount

How badly oblong is it? The stock bolt is tapered so the whole is larger on one side then the other, you may be able to get away with just drilling the small side larger and using a straight shouldered bolt. If that's a no go, you may want to check the size of the whole in the bushign sleave, most are slighly larger then the bolt used, so you could actually get away with using the next size larger bolt.
