im not sure that there is any difference. i dont know for certain, but my car is not a 1LE and the end links that i had on it were polyurethane not rubber. and the 'stock replacement' ones i got from the local auto parts store were also poly. so they might be exactly the same.

Axle/Gears: Limited Slip 3.23's
My 85 IROC also came stock the poly, so I'm unsure of the differences, if any. I did replace, however, with 1LE end links when I swapped to bigger sway bars. The GM part number is as follows: 10221717. By the way, the fit seems better, if I remember correctly, since the poly is molded (rounded) to fit the hole in the a-arm (which is probably ovaled by now).

the napa chassis part number for 1le end links is 265-2048.

i already have the poly ones here (265-1204). i'm going to try those for now. if i don't like them, i'll try the 1le's
