1LE brake hose question stock type hose

Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: V8
Transmission: TH700
1LE brake hose question stock type hose

I got the 1LE brake upgrade off my brothers Camaro but I am uncertain whethere I have the hoses correct (left and right).

Currently the only way the hose will bolt to the bottom of the caliper without getting all twisted is if the hose curves up at the bottom end of the caliper. Should it curve down or am I correct with having it curve upward?

What is the difference between the left and right side stock hose?

Can anyone give me some advice whether I have this on correctly? It does seem as though there is a bit of tension on the hose end where the banjo bolt is but I did reuse the factory hose bracket on the strut and all the factory clips are on correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my only concern.

Transmission: Auto
L are R are keyed differently in the bracket that holds them to the strut. The hose should come out and run up along the bottom of the caliper.

thanks so much for the help guys. It seems as though I have them backwards then. I will swap the hoses and run them underneath the caliper.
