Will I have problems?
Currently I have Goodyear 225/60/16 tires, but I plan on replacing them with some Falken 255/50/16 tires from tires.com. I have a coil removed from a set of new moog springs, but I plan on getting a set of real lowering springs at the same time as the tires. Will I be able to run the 255/50/16 tires up front without issues with a 1" to 2" inch drop? I'll get another alignment then too.

Thanks phoenix305. I'll probably have to watch the parking lots, but I do that already.

You probably won't have any problems with the outside of the fender, but you might hit the inner fender if you turn sharply.

I forgot to put that I have done the ls1 brake upgrade, so the front wheels are another 3/8 inch out.

yeah you should be fine but 255 is probably the biggest you want to go with it.

What alignment specs should I go with if I have dropzones and 255/50/16? I do mostly stop-light to stop-light driving and inner city highways. I want to try and get 30k miles out of them, so its not going to be beaten constantly.

Yeah, I've got some rub now. I just put the Yokohama Avid V4s 255/50/16 on the front and I've got some rub at moderate turn. The rub is occuring on the plastic so I figure if I rotate the tires and have the "rears" on the front I will get less rub. Does that make sense? I'm hopefully going to have time to try tomorrow.

I'm surprised that you are getting rub at moderate turns. I autocross with 255 hoosiers and only get moderate rub. You may want to try the BFH to gain some clearance.

Yeah BFH and I think I'll trim the plastic fender guard down or remove it.
