Hotchkis rear suspension installation

The panhard rod swap went fine, but when I tried to remove the bolts from the LCAs, the bolts wouldn't come out at all. When I tried to turn them, the wrench would snap back at me, like it was spring loaded or something. I couldn't tap them out with a hammer, and I don't have an impact wrench. What could be wrong here?

Howdy there, sometimes on a bolt that passes through a bushing like that, or like on an old leaf spring bushing the bolt actually rusts to the sleeve that passes through the bushing, and that is what your problem sounds like. You could either continue to beat on it and twist it, or get an impact device to punch it out, or heat it up. But the deal is to keep at it till it breaks free, and you ought to have new bolts when that happens as those old ones are likely to get really messed up thread wise. Take care now.
