front strut squeaking

front strut squeaking

hey guys my right front strut is squeaking when in go over a bump. is this a common problem? i'm gonna loosen it and try to grease it, does anyone have any suggestions?

Sure its the strut? Sounds like a bushing. Old rubber bushings deteriorate quickly. It may be time for a rebuild.
