Im thinking about getting these for my 88 trans am, i don't want it slammed but i want more of an aggressive look. everything is stock under the car, just wondering if this is a good option. the car is on 16in GTA wheels with 245/50/r16s on all corners as well. Thanks!

That 2 plus inch drop with the sportlines is a lot. Had a few friends that removed them and went with the pro kit. They got tired of scraping everything and not being able to have a passenger(wife).

I ran the sportlines for years and loved them. Since your tire is slightly smaller than stock (25.6" vs 26") I would run the sportlines.

The rears are so easy it isn't even funny. The fronts take a bit more but are still straight forward. Watch a few youtube videos on how to do it before you start. Also, have an alignment set-up so when you are done to can get it taken care of.

I have the Sportlines on my '87 and love them - car looks dumped once they settled.
Stance is exactly what I was looking for.
Not a fan of the Pro Kit look, but to each their own.

J/K. Just for info., I use the sportlines on the front only. I still have the sportline rear springs, but i kinda like the old school lower front with the rear higher. It's about a 2" difference between the front and rear. Not very good for weight transfer on the starting line though.

Maybe the (wife) needs to lose some weight. J/K. Just for info., I use the sportlines on the front only. If that drops your car the 2-1/4 as advertised you're going to be hating life with that small of a tire, Especially around Rochester. My car is lowered and I run a 28x4.50-15 in the front and a 275/60/15 in the back and still have problems driving around sometimes
