Just found this box the other day after I ordered a Lares box from Hawks which I cancelled after I got word that it wasn't going to ship anytime soon. I just put in the order tonight Jegs seems to have the best price.
This box just came out last month from borgeson 12.7:1 I asked them if its a reman box and they told me its a new box which is good just really want a good quality box that isn't a arm and a leg.

It's probably setup for inverted flare fittings not metric oring fitting like we have stock. Not a bolt in replacement but can be made to work.

You know, I read the add and somehow totally missed that part. My bad.

Didn't need much hammering on the frame but need 2 4" bolts for the bottom mounts the longer factory ones go threw and hit the box.
I don't have any wheels on the car or any steering stuff hooked up yet but feels better already.

Have you had the chance to use the new box yet? I might get one if they actually work. I've been through three reman boxes and they've all been awful.

Did Lares stop remaning boxes? Got mine from RockAuto and it's perfect. No slop at all!

I installed the box this weekend. Pretty easy thanks to Obey My Bird. Thankfully I didn't need to finesse the frame! Anyhow, here's my write up with some pics. I linked this thread in mine as well for future "searchers".

Great update/upgrade. Steering feels great. Mine was REALLY getting sloppy.

I'm looking at this box myself, how did your power steering hoses work out...did they mount directly in the box or did you have to use some supplied adapters to adapt the lines to the box?
