Hi All:

Hope all are enjoying there Firebirds & Camaro's with the nice weather. I was interested to do some suspension upgrades on my 1985 Trans Am with WS4 Package. Does anyone know if the WS6 Larger Sway Bars from 85-90 Firebird\Camaro fit ??

1985 Trans Am WS4 has the following Sway Bar Size:

Front - 32 MM
Rear- 23 MM

The WS6 Sway bars I have seen from 1985 to 1988 cars:

Front - 36 MM
Rear - 24 MM

From what I have read, appears that they will fit. The plan was to upgrade the sway bars and add Energy suspension Bushings and Stabilizer Links to improve the overall handling.

Let me know if anyone has done this before

Yes they all fit. You just need the proper bushings and brackets.

So looking at upgrading from WS4 Sway Bars to WS6 Front & Rear Sway Bars on my 1985 Trans Am. Can someone confirm is these are the correct Sizes for the 82-92 WS6 Sway bars

The WS6 Sway bars: Front - 36 MM and Rear - 24 MM

Been looking at different vendors and ebay, getting conflicting sizes, so I want to know if the WS6 sizes are correct before I buy them.

Yes, those are correct

The front bar is the improvement, I wouldn't bother with the rear. These can usually grip better with smaller rear bars anyway
