Hunter K111 alignment machine
Hello everyone, I was kind of fantasizing about the thought of having the ability to do my own alignments at home. I found one for 275 bucks on Facebook marketplace. I never used one of these machines before. So far I have been doing a little research and came up with following
1) Due to the machine being kind of old it may not be supported by the manufacturer. For instance they may not be to calibrate it.
2) Chances are the specs that are programmed in the machine don’t really cover anything somewhat newer cars like maybe 90’s to 2000’s. As long as I know the specs from say a manual I can thus align manually to that set of specs.
3) I hear that in order for the unit to operate in the simplest fashion. The optical heads must compensate when all of them are on the wheels
Lastly, I am an applied electrical engineer so I can handle some of the circuit related problems. I was just wondering has anyone ever been in the same boat as me and decided to tinker with something of this nature
