Code 23 with new cam

Hey everyone, I'm getting code 23 (23. Low temperature at manifold air temperature sensor OR
Throttle position sensor error)
I just got my car back with the LT1 cam, we advanced the timing, put new lifters, valve seals, valve srpings, timing chain and a new water pump on while the cam was installed, and now everytime I start it up i get this code
we didnt adjust the fuel pressure, could this be doing it?
Jesse

Code 32 is EGR solonoid failure. Basically when the ECM commands it, the EGR opens and allows some exhaust gases to flow into the engine to bring down the combustion chamber temps. This will usually occur at 2000-2500 rpm as this is where highway/cruising rpm's occur and torque is fairly decent so temps in the chamber shoot up to around 7000+ which form nox and can actually cause o-ring failure. An LT1 cam should eliminate the need for EGR use as it overlaps the intake exhaust to do basically the same thing by allowing some exhaust gases to flow back. This is essentially how multi valve systems work (usually when you hear a v-8 have 32 valves or something, 1 is reserved for exhaust gas flow back in order to work better emissions. Your main concern should be the code 23, not the 32 as EGR operation is not as vital to your setup as a faulty manifold air temp sensor which does hurt the engine a lot more.

I disconnected my battery and the only code coming up now is 23.
Is it alright to drive with code 23 coming up?
Im going to take it to a mechanic on tuesday or wednesday to get it checked out, anything I should mention to them about it?

You might want to try plugging back in the IAT sensor plug...
