Hooker headers

Do the 2055 headers fit on tbi cars because they are only listed for tpi? And whats the difference between the manifolds if they dont fit?

TPI headers are the only way to go. All of the TBI headers I found when purchasing mine had 2.5" outlet on the y-pipe. Which is fine for a nearly stock 305 but for a 350 is going to be to restrictive. Mate the TPI headers to a 3" Cat and 3" catback and you will be in good shape.

Why on the catalogues do they say the headers are only for 86-90 then? its not that i doubt you, its just that i have a 92 and it always seems like i always get the wrong parts

Im not quite sure why they only list to 90. Most headers arnt tbi because they dont have the provision for the heat riser thing that goes into the stock air cleaner housing. But we all have open elements (right?! ) so that dont matter

They're good headers, esp when I got them for $312 during summits 10% off thing. Nice 3" y pipe and they clear everything nicely.

I see the super comps are a tight squeeze on the pass side to. I have the regular comp headers but will be ditching them soon for the 2055's...why? Because exhaust shops around here flat out SUCK and cannot make a Y pipe to save their lives. When I get the new exhaust I will post pictures of my current y pipe. If you look at the picture just after eating you may become sick.

You will see. Why A.I.R. chuck!?

I still gotta pass echeck every 2 years and I dont want a tamper flag on my vin. So it'll only take me an afternoon to put all the air stuff back on and i should be good to go.
