hi, tryin to install open air element 14x3 cant fit under 2" hood need help. can i remove anything to do this?

 

It should fit without any problems. Make sure that you aren't running into the distributor cap. That was my problem until I added a half inch spacer to clear it. I have the drop base (I think) that sits a little lower than the TBI unit. It is the more restrictive of the two you can get. I still use the gold spacer around the TBI.

 

Are you using a drop or a non-drop base. If you using non-drop, did you remember to pull off the space ring? That might be holding you up.
