Big Problem Solved
A few days ago in my 88 Trans Am I thought it was the end. I spun it out around a turn and it suddenly just stalled while i was in the other lane. It wouldent turn over and all my power accessories were not working (power windows, locks, ect...) After I finally pushed it into a parking lot and found that the battery was still charged and everything had power. I got it towed home and it turned out to be a fuseable link from the starter, after fixing it, I took the car out and yet again the same thing happened. It turns out on 3rd gen cars 85-90 the taped up bundle of wires coming through the firewall rubs on an exposed edge of metal right next to the fuse block grounding out the power and blowing the fuseable links. If you want to prevent this I used a piece of rubber hose cut down the center and placed it on the edge of metal. Havent had any problems since...
