sensor locations
sensor locations
is there any documentation where the sensors are located on a stock TBI motor??
if i convert a carbed 350 crate motor to TBI, will the sensors mount in the same locations on the motor??

Incredibly vauge!
Sensors on the motor? Maybe. Depends on the motor.
But what are you going to do with the IAC and TPS.
What the heck is wrong with using the TBI? Its already there and is a pretty reliable unit.
Provide some details...........

ok first off what kind of vehicle are we talking about here, what year and what size motor, what transmission, does it have overdrive and lockup torqconverter,or does it have a 350 turbo trans.just trying to make things easier for you on answers.
sensor location
sorry, the motor is a 350 crate from the mid 1980's.
the sensor question came about because i don't know what sensors mount on the stock manifold and those that mount on the block, for instance.
the current manifold has a water neck that has two sensors mounted, but only one is currently in use. there's a sensor located on the block between cylinders 1 & 3, plus another near cylinder 6 or so.
are any of these replaced by the ones mounted on the tbi manifold???
the reason for the question is to find out ahead of time what i need to replace for the swap. i want to install all new sensors, but block versus manifold location is an issue, i think.
the motor will initially get a stock tbi setup.
