Temperary Carb Usage
Once I finish building a new 355 for my TBI camaro, I plan on using a 4 bbl TBI from holley, using the stock computer set up (with some minor mods
). The problem is, I have no idea where to start for the timing or VE tables with this new cam, and I don't want any problems breaking in this engine or the flat-tappet cam. So, for the first few hundred miles, I'm thinking of just putting a 600 holley carb on. Do any of you see any problems with this? The intake is already a 4bbl intake, and I figured besides the check engine light, everything should work, including the ignition advancement. So, if anybody sees any problems with this, please let me know!
Thanks,
Carl
