thanks for all the info, No i wasnt planning on converting to tbi, what i have is a 69 350 short block and I was considering putting the 305 heads on it, I know its not the greastest mod to do but since I am on a tight budget and trying to get this thing moving, I thought about givin it a try, I know it will increase my compression just not sure of how much, no even sure if it is do-able,

any thoughts about this would be appreciated

What size cam are you going to run? As far as the heads go that shouldn't be a problem. Keep the octane up and the timming down unless your running a long duration cam witch will bleed off some compression in the lower rpm's.
