around 425chp give or take from a tbi from any kindof setup? I just got an engine (block and crank only L98 350) and will be going to the machine shop this winter. I was wondering what kind of combo to run if possible, will the holley unit handle that much power? I would like some ***** in this engine and would like something different with the tbi just so that I can say "Its a 350 with a TBI" The thing im having trouble with is how to select the best combo of parts, or should I just ask the shop I will be taking the engine to?

What is the budget? That is the ultimate factor in how fast you can go, at least, reliably.

not sure how much I want to spend? I dont really want to spend more than 1800-2000 on just the block, then wait a few months for the rest heads around a grand for both, and few months later for the cam, rockers, pushrods, and intake. Lastly will be the fuel delivery, prob just use the stock tbi for the first few drives. The place Im thinking cost 30 bucks per cylinder bore, and 170 for a crank regrind if I need it.

I have never messed with a 400hp TBI set-up but r90camarors has. I think he is close to the limit of the 670 unit on his 383. When you want to get to those power levels and stay TBI, you need to look into the 4bbl set-up.
