Iac??

hi there.

have a modified 350ci TBI.
when i last month changed my cam(was gone) there's something weird going on.
before the cam swap and it was cold it idles higher at startup and than when it warms up the idle goes down.
now it idles lower than before(900rpm +-)at cold startup and sometimes it dies.
i checked my IAC and remove the connector.
when i disconnect it there's no errorcode and everything stays the same.
(before the camswap it idles around 1800rpm! with the connector disconnected.)
what recommended you guys to check??

can you cycle it? do you see any movement? IGN ON/OFF. i have 2 IAC's and one is dead. I can cycle with short ALDL. I can also log it with win ALDL.

HI,

i took the IAC out of the Tb and cleaned it.
when it was out i put on the connector and started the car.
it idles really fast(2000rpm)and when it turned of the engine i heard a plop-sound and the spring and metal piece was shot away
after lots of searching on the street i found the pieces and put the back on the IAC.
after this moring make a cold start i think it's working again
i've got a raised rpm-idle and when it warms up it goes down and stays perfect
