world vs vortech

i just came up with enough cash to buy a set of heads. i am not sure weather to go with the vortechs or the world heads. i would like to go with aluminum but cant find a set in the price range that the two jus mentioned are in. i am looking for opinions on what heads to buy between the vortechs and the world s/r torquer 305s. what would you buy

I'd go with the world's, with vortechs you'll still have to buy a new intake.

Yep, you would definitely need a new lower intake manifold since their intake ports are in different locations and a different shape.

I would spend the cash on world heads if I needed the screw in studs and all the other gear on em, but if I wasn't putting in a cam that needed them, I'd try to save my money. world's run around $375 a piece. I assume your using tbi from the sig, so any intake beats the stock alum right as far as new intake for vortecs go. You could get a pair of rebuilt 5 litre vortecs for around $375 or less probably if you waited and looked around. I know I sold a set of 062's and 906's fully rebuilt 350 heads for $320 per pair, but I had to add $45-55 to ship them.
