part above oil filter?

Transmission: 700r4
part above oil filter?

Hi,

anyone knows what the part is above the oil filter?
it's like metal and its leeking a bit of oil.
it's gold-color.

I'm not sure what you would be describing. Did the trucks have an oil cooler? That is the only thing I can think of, without actualy seeing a picture of it.

Could be the oil pressure sending unit. That's above the oil filter.

That would be my guess but, if it were it'd have wires coming from it, which you probably would have described to us.

hi,

i shall try to make a picture within 2 days.
for i remember there was no wire attached to it.
i don't also have an oil cooler
