What is the formula ?
What is the formula ?
Does anybody know the formula for determining at what rpm your injectors theoretically go static? I've seen Rbob use that in several posts and it would be helpful to have when building a motor or installing a new cam etc...

What I use is a small program that makes the same calculations as the ECM does. Basically it is:
PW = BPC * ~AFR * ~T * MAP * VE% * BatCor + InjectorBias
Then do some calc's based on RPM for duty cycle.
The inverse AFR and T (temperature) are from table lookups. And the MAP is a value calculated from the actual MAP value.
So it isn't easy to have a formula to use.

Thanks for the reply Rbob. I guess I shoulda been careful what I asked for. I think it still would be great info to have . Maybe somebody with all the skills could write us a program to help with the calcs????????
