Intake and carb recommendation

I am wanting to replace my current TBI setup, with a carb setup.
Can you guys help me with the specs>
What would be a good intake manifold, and carb to use? I want to gain sufficient power, but not make my gas mileage horrible.
Thanks guys..

Performer RPM intake. I can't see the point of going to carb and not expect to see your milage go to ****. If you want milage, stick with TBI if you want cheap(initial cost) speed go with a Performer RPM and nice carb like demon or holley squarebore.

Yea, I guess, I should have just said, I want to boost my performance. Gas mileage really doesn't matter because I am getting another car soon anyways..I just wanted to boos my performance because I have a dinky 305, with a peanut cam, and stock heads, 700-r4, and stock gears.
Is there any certain model of carb, that you would suggest, I just need one that is compatible with a Edelbrock rpm intake..

i don't know carbs well enough to say. My friend got a nice 650 demon for his 327. But it was pricey. If you want some pep for cheap you can try finding a v6 rear end, get a take off posi for $100+ and put em in.

Another thing to do is to get a LT1 cam $25-$50, small single plane carb intake, $100, and carb to TBI adapter $40.

Just changing to a carb is not going to gain you much unless you change the heads, cam, and add headers, a friend of mine put a new 600 Edelbrock and a performer intake on his 90 RS without adding the other parts and it made almost no difference, just used a lot more gas.
