i have a 91 camaro rs 305. the car turns on well when its been off for a while but when i try to turn it on after just a couple of minutes of it being off it struggles to stay on the rpm hovers at around 500 but then in about a minute it goes back up to 1000 rpm. anyone have any ideas what the problem can be?

 

Do you have any codes?
You could start with checking your CTS, TPS, IAC, and vacumm leaks.

 

sorry it took me so long to get back .... but the check engine light does not come on so i dont think you can check for codes
