350 swap issues

just finish a 350 swap in a 92 rs and car falls on its face at 4000 rpm.

have a 350 from a 94 truck with a small cam and original 305 intake and tbi. computer has been upgraded, has new edelbrock headers and ypipe with 3 inch pipes all the way back.

currently thinking 1.6 rockers, tbi and injectors from a cop caprice will help.

anyone have some better ideas or should i just scrap the efi and go to a carb

Re: 350 swap issues

Did you change the injectors to match the 350? Or increase the fuel pressure to compensate for smaller injectors?? What has been done to the tune on the ecm? One from a truck or did you modify the stock programing?? I have done this swap and you will need to do some ecm tuning to get the right amount of fuel/spark and Power? Just my thoughts.

have the ecm from a cop caprice, with stock injectors and fuel pressure.

Re: 350 swap issues

Ecm from the cop car is set up for a different cam and injector package than the one you have in your truck motor.
