intake mod idea
If anyone has any ideas i will take them. My goal is to get cold air to enter through the front of the car into my air intake as opposed to the way it does now. I have a 305TBI engine and the intake is composed of a couple of plastic tubes that bassically mount to the top front of the engine bay. I notice when i close the hood that there isnt much air getting through here and it is probably sucking in hotter less dense air. I am thinking if i can get the intake maybe piped down under the car so that the intake draws in colder more dense air i can inprove power and economy. Any ideas on if this will be good or is it going to give to much air and cause my engine to run way lean

Some of them have ran the stock air cleaner and just cut it to accept some dryer ducting. Some of actually bought a bonnet. Spectre makes one and used it that way. Both are good idea and really it depends if you want to run the dual TPI filters or the single
