Obviously you need the whole intake-to-air cleaner assembly. Keep in mind those hoods had the cowl induction setup as well.

Why would you want cross-fire injection? Seems like you are moving in the wrong direction. If you're going to swap out the fuel injection, at least go in the other direction and swap in a TPI.

Re: CFI in a 92 vert..!!!

Was a big fan of the CFI back in the day also had few CFI cars
Built 2knight rider cars...... know few tricks to mod the CFI.....
The CFI is cool looking......
And even cooler with bugs worked out....
How hard to swap it into my 92 vert.....?
Can I use the 92 ecm....?
Thank you again

Re: CFI in a 92 vert..!!!

The '92 TBI ECM ('8746) will easily run the CFI setup.

One main area to look at first is the center 4 intake manifold mounting bolts. They are at a different angle on the x-fire heads versus the '92 heads. Being that they are internal to the manifold I don't know if they can be slotted or not.

If not then need to swap heads.

Will look into manifold mounting.....
What's involved in using my ecm and the cross fire set up.....?
I will also be using a functional cowl hood (an early hood or a moded hood )
Thank you again

Will need to do some tuning, not sure how much. It is one of those things that will need to be looked at once up and running.
