Open elements?
I'm in the process of doing some tbi mods and wanna one what kind of flat base open elements people are running without any clearence problems. I'm gonna probably order something from Jegs or Summit and wanna make sure that I get something that is gonna work the first time. I like look of the Edelbrock Elites. Anybody use one of those?

I'm using the Moroso Chrome 14"x3" Flat Bottom Racing Air Cleaner,Part#65911.Bought at Summit for $47.99
It clears the linkage and the hood with the Edelbrock Performer TBI Intake Manifold, which is 1/4" taller than stock.
(TBI air cleaner spacer removed)

What open air elements can be used w/out the spacer besided the MR. Gasket one? I have an edelbrock one, and i have to use the spacer, which defeats the purpose of my injector spacer and shaved throttle ridges.
summit has their house brand, PAW has theirs, weiand, moroso,... lots of them. Just look for "flat base" or "non-drop base"

You can get just the base from summit for your elebrock for around $10 last I checked.
