Quick ?..what is 14 gauge steel in inches?
I'm picking up some box steel for homemade SFC's and the guy only has 14 gauge and 1/8" wall tubing in stock. If I remember right 14 gauge is way too thin..but I couldn't remember what it works out to in inches..so I got curious.

14 guage is .083"

11 guage is .120" (closest to 1/8")

above are based on tubular steel... not HSS sections
