Which MAF to BUY

Hi I need to replace My MAF sensor on a 87 GTA 350 TPI. I would like to buy the Wells Manufacturing version. Is this a good idea?
My concern is with the MAF burn off relay, will that still work with it. And also will I have to make any other adjustments to the engine.
Thanks
Prem.

What about K&N

Thanks alot. I will go ahead and order it. Should I also go for the K&N filter? If yes can you explain What I have to get, straight filter box remove and replace or it is more complicated.
Thanks
Prem

well im not sure since you have a GTA maybe some one who has a GTA, but if was you I would make a cold air intake or something. Look in the tech articles to get some idea, but i think they make a K&N of some sort for ur stock air box.

Prem,

If your '87 still has the "garbage can" air cleaner assembly at the right front corner of the engine compartment, you can use the K&N stock replacement air filter. The k&n P/N is E-0890. It fit my '86 TA perfectly. If you feel that will still be a flow problem, check this article: Air Flow.pdf

You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view/print the file (see link below).
