I have a 91 firebird 305 tbi it has a edelbrock cam and intake combo on it from summitt i have pacesetter headers on it also with a perf chip by hypertech just recently if i unhook my battery and hook it back up my car will not start i have to unhook the tbi injectors then start it and then run back to hook them up before it dies sometimes takes a couple of tries also when i drive my car and it gets hot if i try to start it it lopes badly and jumps up and down on tach if i rev it up it slowly smooths out please give help nick

If you have to disconnect the injector connections to start the engine, you're flooding. The only ways this can happen on an EFI engine are due to leaking injectors or a shorted (grounded) wiring harness to the injectors. I'd suggest starting with a fuel pressure test with the engine both running and off to monitor leakage.

if there leaking injectors does that mean i have to get new ones and if i do what can i do to get better flowing ones like 350 tbi injectors thanx again
