Need advice quickly Tranny Speedo drive!
Need some help please.
I have an 84Z28 and the tranny is toast. So I'm looking to find one out of a junk yard....right now I can find one that is out of a 91 Camaro (T5--just like I had), except that the 91 has an electric speedo right?
Is there an adapter? How much is it and where do I get one?

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
No T5 expert here, but if memory serves: pull out the mechanical drive from your '84, pull out the sensor from the '91, put the mechanical drive into the '91.
You may have to swap the drive gear on the tailshaft as well, if they are a different # of teeth.
