Question about 1992 trans ams...

Ok i know that 1992 was the anniversary year (25th) ok a woman down the street from me has a 25 anniversary trans am...at least thats what it says on the side but it is definetly a 4th gen body style...whats up? if i had a camera id get pics up...its a 60 year old woman that had the car since it was new and the car has 10k on it but why the hell is a supposed 1992 25 anniversary trans am look like a 4th gen and not the 3rd gen it should be?? maybe it was released early?? WTF

i know 92 was the 25th for the camaro so i just assumed it was the same for the trans am...my bad.

1992 was also the 25th anniversary for the Firebird, but the Trans Am didn't come out until 1969.
