MSD ignition coil

Ok, I have read a few things saying that I am going to have to drill out a few rivets to mount the new coil, right?

So, what do I use to fasten the coil to the manifold? Do I need to thread and tap the rivet holes? If not, what bolts can I use to secure it. The coil should be here by Friday so let me know what hardware I will need to pickup.

Thanks.

The Josh

you drill out the rivet holes. MSD supplies bolts with the coil. You then bolt the coil to the bracket. no problem.

i mounted mine on the fire wall where the heater and blower box use to be, trying to keep it away from some heat. you'd get into having to lengthen wires and lot of ertra work doing that, but heat kills mose eletric parts so less is better.
