bad vibration at about 3,000 RPMs even in park
whenever i hit 3000 rpms the car vibrates really bad, even in park which leads me to believe either mounts or flywheel bolts loose but i dont know, has anybody have this happen to them. i noticed it last nite while i had all my buddies in the car. and now there is like a ticking noise coming from what it seems like under the console.

My guess is that the vibration is being caused by a bad motor mount (or mounts). If you can, go underneath your car from the front and look below the crankshaft-pulley at the space (if any) between the oil pan and the front crossmember (or k-member--I can't remember what it's proper name is). You ought to be able to stick your fingers between the oil pan and the member.
If your situation is anything like mine was (was having the exact same problem around 3000 RPM), there will be no space there. If that's the case, you definately need new motor mounts. Mine were cracked so bad that the oil pan (and thus the engine) was sitting directly on the member. If you can see them, look at the motor mounts and see if there is any obvious cracking (although you can't always see unless you remove them).
I replaced the motor mounts in my car and it felt like a whole new car (I could actually hear my radio!).
With regards to the ticking sound... I can't really think of anything around the console that would "tick". I would just suggest that, while you're inspecting the motor mounts (and especially if you decide to change them), take a look at the transmission mount and make sure everything looks good under there.
Hope this helps...
