Look in the phone book for bearings.
If you got the new Fort Worth Yellow pages it's on page 253.

I have gone to American Bearing co. (817) 483-5693

They are off Mansfield Hwy.

Take one of the old ones with you.

Motion Industries, Bearing Headquaters, or any industrial power transmission supplier.

Home Depot for bearings? You really gotta get out more often. There are a lot better places to find hardware than a home center. If you want to test that theory, go the Home Depot and ask for M18-1.5x45 cheese head Allen machine screws, stainless steel with a Sems washer. They almost certainly will give you that "deer in the headlights" glare. Go to a hardware supplier and they only questions you'll get are "What color?" and "How many?"

The next time you have a little time to surf around, check out www.mcmastercarr.com, or www.mscdirect.com, and you'll get a look at the tip of the iceberg of what's available in the world.

Not a flame, but I see far too many people just give up after visiting a home center instead of a hardware store, or AutoZone/Pep Boys/etc. instead of an auto parts supplier. These places only exist for the "sheep" in the world - the same people for whom the Toyota Camry is designed. I'd rather be a little more like the wolf, myself. Sheep are only good for three things - gyros, sweaters, and getting screwed by farmers with tall rubber boots. I've used them for two out of three of those....

It was sunday, i was desperate. I hadn't even began to give up, just needed a push in the right direction. remember, i haven't been around the block as many time as some of you guys, so i value you guys' opinion. thats why i am going to ask you what do u mean by "auto parts supplier".

oh i did make a trip to Ace Hardware today, they had bearings.

Nice. You know I expected to get flak on that one. I'm not even going to get into the "meat-eater" thing, since I already have one shoe in my mouth and have little room for the other one.

And thanks for the support, Riley!

After the last couple of weeks in the market, I thought we needed a bit of comic relief. I'm feeling a little like a ewe myself lately. I always wondered why my broker had those rubber waders in his office. Metals are looking pretty good right about now. Maybe if we went BACK on the gold standard....
