Engine: 350 TPI Camaro, 350 tpi Corvette

Transmission: 700R4

Need HELP

Ok I have a 1986 camaro iroc-z 305 tpi. The problem is.....
When I drive my car and turn on the air, my car starts to overheat.
Now what I am asking you guys is...
What could be causing this, and how do I stop it.

do you have duel fans? is the second fan coming on? is the single fan coming on? check for obstructions in front of or in the radiator. is the air damn in palce?
