only 319hp on the dynojet. Was a little lean (stayed about 319-317 from 5100-5700).. but it should have made more than that.
Even rejetted, it would not have been much over 325-330ish.
Time to put it on an engine dyno and find out WTF.
We won't even talk about the stripped out carb fuel bowl threads thanks to these guys (http://www.conversionxtras.com/ ) with the socalled dyno tune.
If u want something to read.

Is that 319 to the rear wheels? That's more than your average near-stock LS-1 so it's not THAT bad. Prolly around 375 at the crank, I would think. What were you shooting for? What's the combo?

yep rw..
but you would think, with track1heads (that flow 265outof the box), a 600lift cammotion, 10.8 to 1, a 450 buck (i did not pay that) aftermarket CNCed vicjr and demon, it would be closer to 500+..
Thats what most sims put it at.

OK, yeah, you're way down on power. I have gotten ~315HP at the rear wheels with a dual-plan intake, very mild cam (210 @ .050) and QJet carb, so I'd agree..... something's not right.
Did you check to make sure the timing is set right and is advancing correctly as the RPMs climb? Are you sure you have good fuel pressure all the way up? Simple stuff is usually to blame when an engine is a massive under-performer.

kind of hard for timing to not be ok
Its a comp 9000 with 15initial and 22 in the distributor.. (I have a dial back light and will make sure again.. but, its been checked b4) and it runs fine all the way.. just never pins you back.
And it never runs out of fuel.. when the electric pump is pickingup,, (and you can tell when its not, bc it will loose the prime everynow and then and there is no doubt, the bowls are dry) the carb is staying full.
