alright figured out what cam but..

i can't find how to order it. i want the compcam xr264hr-10. here is a page i found on compcams website

http://www.compcams.com/information/Search/CamResults.asp?Known=xr264hr-10

but i am not sure what is better. and i how do i order it? i want the xtreme energy 264 hydralic roller. Will i need to buy anything else besides the cam for the installation? thanks guys!

It does has a 110 lobe separation, which is more computer friendly.

I'd just like to add a thanks to you guys for helping me pick out this one, because when i first started looking for one i had no idea about lift or anythiing like that...especially LC1500, you've been a great help.

Call Summit and tell them what you want. They'll have the part #.

If this is going in the 91 in your sig, the Summit # will be something like CCA-08-412-8

You should definitely absolutely put new valve springs and all their hardware on it, and consider a timing chain and a set of better rockers.

And of course you'll need intake and valve cover gaskets, misc TPI gaskets, fluids & filters, vacuum hose to replace the dried up brittle ones that will surely break, etc.

You forgot water pump and dist. gasket. Though I found that fel pro intake gaskets come with a dist. gasket.

You might want to check out this part # at summit CCA-08-302-8. It probably pretty close to the specs you where looking at but made specifically for computer controlled motors. I think the only difference is it has 112 degree lobe seperation. Not sure if it will make a huge difference to gain that little bit of vacuum but you gotta figure comp cams has to have a reason for doing it.

The reccomended springs are also listed for that cam and are reasonably priced.

alrighty then, yes it is for the 91 in my sig. does summit have a website? minus the price of the cam itself, what will the rest of the stuff cost including new springs and maybe rockers?

alright, just check the price of the cam and all the recommended stuff and it comess to about 630 plus tax just for the stuff. Now i am prob gonna need more stuff(IE gaskets, which i don' think are tooooooooo much) plus thecost of all the porting i am doing. now i am not rich so this just went from a right away thing to order what i can afford and keep it all until i got everything then put it all in. I'll have it done by the srping anyway...because up here in canada.....my car went into storage already!

Anyway i am more confident about these parts because they are all for my exact location and have pretty good cam specs, so this is what i am getting....

ONCE AGAIN, THANKS ALOT GUYS!
