I current have a carb'd car that has no computer or emissions devices. I need to pass a visual emmissions test for inspection so.... I also wanted to swap to TPI. I was thinking... Since I need a computer to control the emissions devices, would it be relatively easy to swap them on while I'm putting on the TPI?

 

TPI will not work without a computer, period. So it's sort of a moot point as to whether to use one or not: you will. You're going to have to have one. Just make sure you get the one that goes with whatever TPI unit you get.

 

I know that TPI needs a computer, that's why I was asking how difficult it would be to swap both of htem on.
