DP vs 4160

Whats the advantage of running a holley double dumper, or avenger over a regular 600 cfm 4160 carb. How much power difference is ther in power, which is better, how bad will gas mileage suffer?

You'll have to learn to ease into the gas a little with the DP. MPG won't be the best either, but that's what I'm goin with a 650DP, I'm done with the vacuum crap.

the street avenger isnt a true double pumper. It has a dual feed line but only one pump. The avenger is almost the exact same thing as the regular holley. I wouldnt get it unless you get a nice discount on it like i did,.

Yup, for your setup ME Leigh, you've got great heads, and a nice cam, get the 650DP or a 750VS.

Since i am running the 200 cc prolighting heads, which carb would give me the best throttle response. I would really like to get the best throttle response out of this new motor!

I'd get either of the ones I mentioned. I hear a DP takes a little getting used to on an auto, but I'm willing to learn.

Then stick with a 750 vacuum secondary. DP's are know for bogging and can be a PITA to tune.
