valve covers, HELP ASAP

I am installing new thicker valve covers with a tall profile and baffles for my pcv. Anyway, I forgot to get good valve cover stud bolts so im gonna have to use my old Twist Screws. How tight should I twist? Its a 70's 350 carbed with 1.6RR. Please help I need to leave tonight and I need some advice before I do this tomorrow.

It's like 17-22 inch pounds. I just tighten them by feel, get then all snug and give em half a turn more.

Just snug them up, not too tight or you'll end up warping the sealing flanges.
