WOT problem

383...large cam, 292/297 i believe...edelbrock perf. rpm intake..750 edlelbrock carb mechanical sec.

Heres the problem.......
When i give is WOT, the car doesnt burst with takeoff, but when i start letting off the throttle slightly it start to take off faster. it seems to pull faster a little after half throttle, then it does at WOT.
Would this be that i need bigger jets, pretty sure the jets are from outa the box.
Maybe something to do with that "air valve" thing on the secondaries which im not too familiar with its function?

Step 1:

Lose the Edelbrock (Carter). Replace it with an actual performance carb, either a Holley or a Demon.

Your secondaries are lean.
