Basically when i'm stopped and my car is at idle it tends to stutter to a point where the car almost stalls, but recovers and runs smooth for about 3 seconds then does it again.

when the car is moving there are no probs, runs smooth

i've checked for vaccuum leaks but could not find any, but theres so many pollution contol tubes who knows.

anyways, if anyones had this prob, or know what it is. please let me know, i would love to finally fix this

check your carb.

 

um ya...what would i be looking for

i've changed the gaskey between the intake manifold and the carb, and also have check all the tubes going to it

i've also rebuilt the carb and still is having problems

 

Exactly what carburetor are you using?

 

its the stock quadra-jet.

the car ran awesome when i bought it about 1.5 years ago.
then about 4 months ago it starting doing what i said above.
