A few do. There was a campaign on a certain fuel-supply related problem that installed one as a service procedure. I don't know that any came from the factory with one, but I don't know that they didn't either.

Mine does not have it. So I can say with certainty that not all L69s do.

My memory is a bit foggy, but it seems to me that the shop manual for my 85 IROC claims that the L69 has both. Having said that, I have no personal experience.

mine doesnt have it, and im glad i dont have have an electric. The difference in replacing an electric and a mechanical is huge, and gm's electrical pumps have historys of going bad, unlike friggin honda and toyota, losing a fuel pump on those is unheard of

I don't have an electric fuel pump either, and I'm glad. Just something else to break....

I've heard others say they have both an electric and mechanical - I assume the electric's were installed due to problems with the mechanical getting vapor-locked????
