gas leak

i was replacing my coil, and i noticed the back of the manifold had a wet stain from gas leaking out of one of the fuel lines (i think). i assume it's just an o-ring or a gasket on the tb leaking, and it's not a bad leak, but im away at school and i dont have time/tools/place to mess with it here. i'm not going to blow up or anything if i dont get to it right away will i? or is this something to fix NOW?

As I am sure most people would agree, you need to fix gas leaks ASAP. Remember, fuel fumes ignite very easily. If it goes unchecked it will probably get worse and then start to hurt your milege, aside from just being dangerous. I value my life and my cars life too much to risk a fire!! Don't you.

If the fuel rails are leaking, you need to fix it. Think about where the leak is..gas fumes by your ignition coil? That's about the worst place. Better make sure all of the insulation on your spark plug wires is good.

yah, all that electricity and gas cant mix well. maybe ill get time this weekend..........

here's another INCREDIBLY stupid question, . made even stupider by the fact that ive done it......at least twice...... but a long time ago, and i cant remember how to do it now. how do you relieve fuel pressure? the manual says to take out the FP fuse but there isnt one on the board, so im guessing there's some inline fuse in the engine bay, however ive poked around and cant find it

If you look under the rear of the car, above the rearend housing, there is a group of wires and a connector. If you unplug this, you unplug the fuel pump. Start engine and it will stall when fuel runs out. Maybe not the best way to do it but it works for my 92 Z28.
