high pressure oil pump....will this work?

I have two brand new oil pumps. A melling m55 and a melling m55HV.
The m55HV has a card and spring that says I can put in the extra spring to get stock pressure.
Can I put the spring currently in the m55HV in the m55 to have a stock volume, high pressure pump?
Thanks,
Mike

I can't think of any reason why not. That is how it would be done, the only question I would have is if the spring in the M55 is the same length and diameter. I would be surprised if there was a difference other than the tension.
